Responsibilities:
Develop and sustain a strong network with key stakeholders, becoming their trusted technical advisor.
Support sales efforts by building strong relationships with key stakeholders through product and application training, and regular information-sharing sessions (e.g., Lunch & Learn).
Write and influence specifications for consulting engineers and end users to assist with design, offer recommendations, and ensure the successful adoption of products.
Provide application consulting, education, and support to sales teams and customers on new technical applications.
Act as a coach and mentor within the local RAC community (EA region, and AP on request) to ensure knowledge-sharing and technical expertise within the community.
Conduct training sessions (either in-person or virtual) for consulting engineers, owners, customers, and other stakeholders.
Leverage application expertise to support the sales team in developing new business opportunities, driving demand through "pull-through" efforts to secure specifications for products.
Take a leadership role in coordinating large, complex projects to ensure the product line is fully integrated into design, specifications, and procurement processes.
Effectively use sales tools such as MS Dynamics to stay updated on new consulting engineering and end-user projects, and provide leads to the sales team.
Collaborate closely with the Sales Director, Technical Support, AP Product Managers, and subject matter experts to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the DC and HVAC industries to provide innovative solutions, with a strategic focus on the Data Center market.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
In-depth technical understanding of HVAC, hydronic and controls systems
5 Years of proven track record in consulting engineering, Data Center design/operations, or applicable experience in the HVAC or related technical field.
Established network with DC stakeholders (M&E consultants, operators and developers) is a plus
Travel requirements of position is approximately 50%
