Overview:

We are seeking a proactive IT Infrastructure Specialist to provide operational support globally, ensuring high availability and performance of virtualization, Microsoft technologies (on-premises and cloud), and storage systems. This role involves troubleshooting complex issues, managing IT projects, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and recommending innovative technology solutions to optimize business operations. Effective communication, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to quality documentation are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Experience in installation, configuration, administration & maintenance of virtualization platform, Microsoft technologies (on-prem & cloud), SAN/NAS storage in meeting the IT SLA
• Work closely with the business users to deliver quality solutions to assist the business to meet their dynamic business requirements.
• Perform analysis, troubleshoot IT Infrastructure issues and provide sound business solution / alternative base on IT Infrastructure standard capability and functionality.
• Proactively ensure highest level of services availability, maintain acceptable system performance, and respond to critical production system alerts including potential cybersecurity exploits on Azure, Microsoft 365 and onpremises Wintel services.
• Provide quality documentation to comply with company policy, ITSG and SOX requirements, architectural design, functional design, test scenarios, issue log, root cause analysis, etc.
• Drive IT Infrastructure Project and Enhancement to ensure Time, Budget and Quality are met.
• Keep the Lights ON for Global Enterprise System (Incidents & Major outage) supporting the Daily Operations and meeting the Operational needs of the company.
• Liaise with vendors and other functional IT team for problem resolution and root cause analysis.
• Stays current with new and emerging technologies and recommends implementation to improve customer satisfaction, reduce cost and/or provide a competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
• Typically 8-10 years of proven hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure
• Preferably 5 years of experience in Azure IaaS and PaaS setup and operations.
• Experience working for a Global Multinational Corporation, preferably in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
• Deep hands-on functional configuration knowledge of IT Infrastructure, proven experience with implementing IT projects and with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Hands on experience on change, incident, and problem management.
• Experiences in AD multiple forests, Next-Gen Anti-Virus, Email security (SPF, DMARC, Transport rule), OpManager, Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Well-verse in PowerShell scripting – reporting and tasks/deployment automation.
• Analytical / Business / Functional Skills and Sound Business Process Knowledge (e.g. Semiconductor)
• Project Management skill and SCRUM certified will be value add
• Ability to Lead, Good Interpersonal Skill, Good Presentation Skill, Tactful, Resourceful and possess a “Can-Do” spirit, A good Team player
• Good to have: Intune MDM/MAM Policy deployment, Conditional Access knowledge/ experience, Endpoint Management
