Job summary
A leading travel retail company based in Singapore seeks a Visual Merchandiser to create brand-aligned in-store experiences. The role involves executing visual merchandising guidelines, designing compelling displays, and ensuring brand consistency across retail stores. Applicants should possess 2–4 years of experience in visual merchandising or retail graphic design and are proficient in Adobe software. Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills are essential for this fast-paced role.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years’ experience in visual merchandising or retail graphic design preferred.
- Strong understanding of VM principles and retail customer behavior.
- Knowledge of materials and print production processes.
Responsibilities
- Execute VM guidelines and seasonal campaigns consistently.
- Design in-store graphics for activations and promotions.
- Ensure visual excellence through compliance and maintenance.

Role Overview: Deliver brand-aligned, sales-driven in-store experiences through visual merchandising and graphic design across travel retail stores.
- Execute VM guidelines, seasonal campaigns, and brand standards consistently.
- Implement visually compelling, on-brand, sales-focused displays and product placement.
- Adapt VM execution for travel retail environments, shopper flow, and space constraints.
- Assist in store openings, refurbishments, pop-ups, activations, and promotions.
- Conduct store visits to ensure VM compliance, maintenance, and visual excellence.
- Design static and motion in-store graphics to support activations, promotions, price communication, and brand storytelling.
- Ensure all graphics and messaging are accurate, highly visible, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Adapt global brand assets for local store formats.
- Coordinate with printers, fabricators, contractors, and VM teams for timely, high-quality production.
- Develop templates, toolkits, and modular graphic systems to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Maintain an organized library of brand assets, templates, and design files.
- Gather store feedback to refine VM layouts, graphics, and overall in-store effectiveness.
- Collaborate across Store Operations, Commercial, Buying, and Graphic teams to ensure cohesive execution.
- Diploma or Degree in Visual Merchandising, Graphic Design, Retail, Marketing, or related field.
- 2–4 years’ experience in visual merchandising and/or retail graphic design (travel retail, fashion, F&B, or lifestyle brands preferred).
- Strong understanding of VM principles, brand guidelines, and retail customer behavior.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro; capable of static and motion design.
- Knowledge of materials, fabrication methods, and print production processes.
- Ability to sketch, mock up, and prototype in-store concepts.
- Strong attention to detail, planning, organization, and time management.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills; willing to travel between stores.
