Job Title: Assembly, Maintenance and Overhaul Technician (ARMO Tech - Electro Mech – Drilling Services)
Location: SAU-Dammam
Role Summary:
As an AMO Technician, you will troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and perform the visual inspection of mechanical assemblies. While assisting in repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment, you will perform all tests with minimal instruction.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the rework, repair, and modification of equipment that does not meet the required standards.
- Skilfully identify and communicate technical issues by employing logical troubleshooting techniques.
- Expertly carry out complex and challenging tests with minimal guidance and documentation.
- Offer guidance to fellow technicians in areas where you have demonstrated expertise.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement improved assembly processes.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.
- Review procedures for assembly, disassembly, and test verification accuracy.
- Analyze and interpret data from environmental tests, and troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Assist in the set-up of experiments and the recording of experimental data in collaboration with Engineering and Reliability groups.
- Test and evaluate the performance and, if required, repair general purpose test equipment.
- Work in compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.
- Continuously strive to enhance efficiency and productivity through innovative problem-solving methods.
- Regularly update technical documentation to reflect any modifications or improvements made.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 2-year technical diploma or associate degree in electrical/mechanical field or higher.
- 0-2 years of related experience as an AMO Technician with Electronic experience; cannot have all CVs submitted as fresh graduates.
- Advanced skills in soldering and assembling of electro-mechanical devices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.
- Proficient in the use of measurement and gauging equipment and processes.
- Proficient in the use of multimeters, megohmmeters, hi-pot testers, and other basic instruments.
- Very good command of English, spoken and written.
