As part of our expanding operations in the Middle East region, we are seeking a Food Quality Technician to join our dynamic team based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

Job Summary: Responsible for testing materials and finished products and raw materials to ensure they conform to all applicable laws and company standards. Quality control technicians test products across the three stages of production (before, in-process, and final) to ensure quality levels are met, overseeing quality assurance and quality control, and collecting, analyzing, and interpreting lab results.

Duties / Role / Responsibility:

1. Daily, weekly and monthly quality testing, inspections, and procedures.
2. Initiate corrective actions to ensure final products meet required specifications.
3. Support the Quality Control Manager in training associates on safety programs to protect employees against harm.
4. Update and maintain all documentation for auditing purposes and collect samples for shelf life and laboratory analysis.
5. Report to the QC Supervisor or QC Manager specific information related to product information from R&D, PPD, or production.
6. Conduct quality calibrations, internal audits, and project assignments in a timely, safe, and professional manner.
7. Report results, issues, and roadblocks to the Quality Supervisor or Quality Manager.
8. Convey any instrumentation issues to the QC Supervisor for review and resolution.
9. Report any unusual product observations and analytical results while analyzing or handling samples to the QC Supervisor or QC Manager.
10. Comply with established quality, safety, and environmental procedures and policies.
11. Participate in the use of a relevant and reliable system to measure quality based on internal and external indicators to select priority non-quality issues to be addressed, tracking corrective action plans on a monthly basis.
12. Participate in developing and maintaining an appropriate control and internal audit plan.
13. Participate in building an integrated and effective quality management system, compliant with ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ILO OSH 2001, and ISO 14001, operating the Group Quality Policy on the site and achieving the FS 22000 certification required by the Group.
14. Adhere to factory safety rules and regulations.

Education & Experience:

1. Diploma in Food Science and Technology or equivalent.
2. Good knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.
3. Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.
4. Proficiency in MS Office.
5. Good communication skills.
