Production Operative
Location: Kineton, CV35
Position Type: Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: £11.75 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 (40-hour week)

Empowered Personnel is currently recruiting a Production Operative. Our client is looking for a dedicated Production Operative to join a growing team and help to ensure the smooth operation of production and dispatch processes.

Key Responsibilities of a Production Operative:

1. Operate production machinery to manufacture products, developing a strong understanding of materials and processes.
2. Accurately pick, pack, and label goods as per specifications.
3. Assist with monthly stock audits and participate in regular team briefings.
4. Process raw materials in the correct order and weight to meet finished goods specifications.
5. Ensure production jobs are completed on time and per the production plan.
6. Ensure that job cards are accurately filled out and all necessary sections are completed.
7. Test manufactured products to ensure they meet required specifications and report findings to the Quality Manager.
8. Ensure efficient and correct stock rotation (First In, First Out) and proper storage of materials and goods.
9. Keep machinery and production areas clean, and ensure tools and equipment are properly stored.
10. Work towards improving efficiency and ensuring procedures are followed.
11. Provide cover in either production or dispatch departments as needed.
12. Maintain good housekeeping practices and keep work areas clean and free from obstruction.

Key Requirements of a Production Operative:

1. Must have good numeracy and literacy skills for KG to gram conversions.
2. Computer literate.
3. Clear communication skills with staff at all levels.
4. Able to work independently once trained, but also a strong team player.
5. Willing to use a Reach/Forklift truck (current licence not required).
6. After training, capable of operating large mixing equipment.
7. Must have own transport due to the location of the role.
