For the successful Machine Operator our client is offering;

The Role of the Machine Operator;

• Setting up robotic equipment (e.g. choosing the right program, putting on interchangeable parts to suit the product to be run)
• Populating and keeping equipment populated with packaging
• Clearing blockages and basic troubleshooting
• Efficient changeovers between products
• Quality checks to include mostly date code checks and weight checks
• Selecting the correct program on batch code printers
• Recording checks and batch details

What our client is looking for in a Machine Operator;

• Previous Machine Operating experience is ESSENTIAL
• Our client is looking for somebody who has worked in a Food environment

For the successful Machine Operator our client is offering:

• Up to £12.50 per hour DOE
• 2 week shift rotation - Week 1 & 2 - Monday to Friday, 6am – 2:30pm. Week 3 & 4 - Monday - Friday, 12:00pm - 8:30pm
• Temporary to Permanent position
• Training and Development opportunities available
• In house licence will be provided
• Profit-related bonuses & attendance bonuses after qualifying period
• 29 days annual leave including bank holidays

The role - Machine Operator:

• Set up and operate CNC sawing equipment to cut aluminium and stainless steel to customer specifications
• Read and accurately interpret order sheets
• Read and accurately interpret technical drawings to determine cutting requirements
• Select appropriate saw blades, adjust cutting speeds, and position materials for precise cuts
• Use forklift to collect own materials to load the CNC
• Check quality of finished products.
• Monitor sawing operations to ensure accuracy, quality and adherence to safety protocols
• Performing daily maintenance checks of metal saw
• Maintain a clean and organised work area

What our client is looking for in a Machine Operator:

• Previous experience operating a computerised machine- ESSENTIAL
• Ability to work from blueprints and technical drawings - ADVANTAGEOUS
• Previous experience driving a counterbalance forklift - ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience working within the steel industry would be beneficial
• Physically fit to lift heavy materials
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

The Role - Production Operative;

• Operating machinery
• Mixing and weighing ingredients
• Follow work instructions, maintain good working practices with high standards of hygiene control
• Ensure that cross contamination is avoided by means of production awareness
• Ensure that production records are maintained
• Control of Finished Product bins & obtaining feed samples as required
• Ensuring health and safety is followed at all times

What our client is looking for in a Production Operative;

• Previous experience within a manufacturing industry - ESSENTIAL
• Comfortable with heavy lifting - ESSENTIAL
