Job description

We are working with a reputable client based in Luton (LU3) who require a
CNC Miller Setter Operator to join their team.
The position is a permanent role paying £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE).

Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday 6am - 4pm or 8am - 6pm (40 hours per week)
28 days holiday (including bank holidays) + Peoples Pension.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working within an engineering environment. The right candidate will also have good CNC Miller Setting and Operating experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for setting and operating up to 5 axis machinery.
  2. Must be able to read and interpret technical information.
  3. The ability to programme would be an advantage but is not essential.
  4. Familiar with managing and operating Fanuc controls.
  5. Ability to use a range of precision measuring instruments.
  6. Quality checking components.
  7. Other general duties when required.
Key Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 2 years experience within a similar environment.
  2. Must be PC literate.
  3. Excellent attention to detail.
