An Excellent opportunity has arisen for a Steel Production Operator based in Witham to start ASAP. This is a temporary to permanent role.
- Hours: Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 15:30, Friday 07:00 - 14:00
- Benefits include:
- £13.97 PER HOUR plus bonus after 12 weeks
- Overtime Available
- Annual Christmas shutdown up to 2 weeks
- Above statutory annual leave
- Free on site parking
- Operate all relevant bending machinery, tools, and equipment and undertake production tasks safely and in accordance with instructions
- Physical/manual work including movement and lifting of steel bars
- Complete production activities in order of priority
- Set up or adjust equipment according to manufacturing specifications
- Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard or re-manufacture faulty products
- Maintain accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analysed
- Using measuring tapes
- Operate Overhead crane (Training provided)
- This role involves heavy lifting and manual work within a heavy industry steel environment
