The Role:

As a Secondary School English Teacher, you will:

1. Deliver engaging and stimulating English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
2. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
3. Support students in developing their literacy skills and a deep understanding of English literature and language.
4. Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in accordance with the curriculum and school standards.
5. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve and succeed.
6. Work closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.

What We're Looking For:

1. A qualified English teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
2. Passionate about literature and language, with a genuine enthusiasm for helping students excel.
3. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
