Learning Support Assistant - Specialist School - Camden
Are you a compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with additional needs? A specialist school in Camden is seeking a dedicated individual to provide vital support to students with diverse learning difficulties, helping them reach their full potential in a structured and nurturing environment.
Position: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Camden
Interview Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-Time / Permanent
Salary: £102 - £115 per day (dependent on experience)
- Has experience supporting children with SEND, including autism, speech and language difficulties, or complex learning needs.
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Can provide both one-on-one and small-group support to enhance learning and social development.
- Works collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other staff to create a supportive educational environment.
- Is proactive, adaptable, and committed to helping students develop confidence and independence.
- Offer individualized support to students, helping them engage with lessons and achieve their learning goals.
- Assist in developing and implementing personalized learning strategies tailored to each student's needs.
- Encourage positive behavior, emotional well-being, and social skills development.
- Work alongside teachers to modify classroom activities and ensure accessibility for all learners.
- Contribute to a safe, structured, and inclusive school environment where students feel supported and motivated.
