Teaching Assistant - Welsh Medium Primary School

Vale of Glamorgan | £83.85 per day | Start Date: April 2025

The Role:

1. Supporting pupils in a 1:1 capacity to ensure their individual learning needs are met.
2. Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
3. Encouraging independence, confidence, and engagement among pupils.
4. Using your Welsh language skills to support children in their learning.
5. Adapting to different situations with empathy, patience, and creativity.

What We're Looking For:

1. A fluent Welsh speaker who can confidently communicate with pupils.
2. Experience working with children, particularly those with ALN/SEN.
3. A passion for education and helping children reach their full potential.
4. The ability to motivate and inspire pupils while working collaboratively with teachers.
5. A resilient, adaptable, and proactive approach to learning support.

Essential Requirements:

2. EWC registration (Education Workforce Council).
