Job summary

A leading engineering solution provider is seeking a Building Services Engineer to join their multi-disciplinary team. This hybrid role combines office and site work in Glasgow. The successful candidate will have extensive HVAC design experience and be responsible for ensuring engineering design substantiation meets all necessary safety and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of legislative standards and the ability to produce technical documentation are essential for this position.

Qualifications

  • Experience in building services design specifically in HVAC systems.
  • Ability to perform psychrometric analysis relevant to HVAC.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and technical guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
  • Author and maintain engineering design substantiation.
  • Ensure design requirements meet safety and regulatory standards.

Skills

Building services design experience in HVAC
Ability to analyse psychrometric properties of air
Knowledge of legislation and standards
Familiarity with ASHRAE standards
Experience producing technical reports
Experience authoring technical documentation
Multi-discipline engineering input experience
