A prominent data services firm is seeking a Senior Manager Data Governance to oversee and enhance its data governance framework. Responsibilities include developing, monitoring, and assessing data assets against quality metrics, ensuring compliance and supporting cultural change across the organization. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in data governance practices, particularly with Microsoft Purview, and the ability to lead data governance initiatives to foster quality culture in data management. This role is pivotal in driving effective data governance across Ofgem's assets.

In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the delivery and embedding of the Data Governance Framework to enhance the quality, value, and usability of Ofgem's data assets. You will provide expert data governance, quality advice and guidance across all areas of Ofgem, ensuring that high-quality data assets are available for use with the necessary data quality metrics in place. As a senior member of the Data & AI function, you will support the Head of Data, Information & AI Governance in developing the vision and strategy for the function, with accountability for the delivery and maintenance of the data governance framework. Additionally, you will engage with the Head of Data & AI Governance to foster an environment that promotes a culture of data innovation and process excellence through the enhancement of data capability, including people, process efficiency, and technology. Your responsibilities will include supporting the operationalization of the data governance framework and actively collaborating with senior business leaders within multiple forums. By working closely with key stakeholders, you will ensure that Ofgem's data assets are of the highest quality and meet the required data quality standards.
