How You’ll Play Your PartIn this role, you will support the Enterprise Data Owner with the aim of maintaining strong relationships with business partners in order to provide analytical and technical support for prioritised analytics and BI activities. You will be responsible for supporting the MBFS UK Reporting, MI & Analytics initiatives, the MBFS Data Quality, Data Literacy and Data Training initiatives and Data Governance programme.
Main Accountabilities- Support the designing and deploying default, standard, structured, scheduled reporting and default user defined views. Support the building, maintaining and contributing to the standard reusable report library.
- Build MB FS analytics and BI reporting capabilities while also ensuring distribution and delivery of high-quality analytics reporting solutions and BI reports.
- Develop ad hoc reports, dashboards and interactive visualizations using 'Data Strategy' self-serve capabilities.
- Analyse and interpret results for making decisions relevant to their business function.
- Support operationalising the data quality rules defined by data stewards for critical data attributes within their respective domains.
- Help develop Data Quality scorecards that describe the current quality of key governed data which is used by Data stewards to identify discrepancies and data quality issues for resolution.
- Support the design & implementation of a comprehensive literacy program which prepares users to interpret and approach data and accommodate the business and process changes that accompany new D&A technologies and uses.
- Support the Implementation of data and analytics training that focuses on how to use data tools and applications.
- Support the implementation of Data Governance Vision & Strategy.
- Support the Data Governance Charter.
- Help develop Data Governance Metrics.
- Support the documentation of processes, standards & policies.
- Help develop the Data Catalogue.
About YouPlease be advised if you already have a degree or higher qualification (e.g. Masters/PhD) in Data or related to Data, you will not qualify for this apprenticeship.- Studying towards a Digital and Technology Solutions degree apprenticeship.
- Excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of business rules and data standards.
- Knowledge of business systems.
- Basic report design skills.
- Ability to interact with business partners through interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of BI concepts, best practices, and tools.
