Head of Finance, Permanent job in Lichfield, £60,000 - £75,000 per annum

Your new role

They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Finance to join their leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the financial health of the company. They will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and lead the finance team.
The role will involve:

1. Production of monthly management accounts
2. Preparation of annual financial statements
3. Monthly intrastat submissions to HMRC
4. Preparing the annual audit file
5. Preparing and delivering the annual budget, and updating the monthly forecasts for the group
6. Cashflow forecasting and control
7. Designing and controlling the internal financial controls of the business
8. Day to day management of the finance team
9. Ensuring accuracy of the financial reporting prepared by the finance team
10. Maintaining strong communication processes to ensure smooth and efficient flow of accurate information

The ideal candidate would be a qualified accountant, and they would work in a fast-paced manufacturing company. They will be happy working to tight deadlines and leading an experienced and efficient finance team.

What you'll get in return
