What is the role?

This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join the Finance Team at Persimmon PLC. This role reports to the PLC Finance Manager.

The role involves working across Head Office Finance Team assisting with general accounts.

Primary Responsibilities

• Processing of payments for across the Persimmon Group
• Monitoring and reconciling bank statements
• Processing of expenses
• Provide cover across the department as required by the Finance Manager

What experience do I need?

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Ability to be accurate and proficient in numeracy
• Have intermediate level of Microsoft Excel use
• Ability to be methodical, accurate and be capable of working to tight deadlines
• You will be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills, working independently and prioritising workloads
• Experience of COINS finance system would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be given
