The Company:

My client is a global market leader within a specialist process industry. This arm of the business designs and manufactures chemical dosing systems for large manufacturing businesses throughout the UK.

They have created a new position within their after-sales department to add more value to their customers in the shape of a field service engineer.

The Role:

The field service engineer will be performing a wide range of activities from day to day, including:

• Electrical and mechanical service and repair of industrial machinery.
• The equipment includes control panels, inverters, drives, relays, PLCs, and safety circuits.
• Mechanically, you will be working on pumps, valves, and pipework.
• Support with installation and commissioning of machinery and equipment on customers' sites.
• Organising and planning of spare parts for services and upgrades.

Required Experience:

• The field service engineer will be qualified to NVQ 3 in electrical as a minimum.
• You could be a service engineer, maintenance engineer, or commissioning engineer looking for a new role.
• They are open on industry.
• You must be flexible to travel and work away from home during the week.
• Massive company.
• Autonomous role with progression opportunities.
