The role involves working with vulnerable students to increase their engagement, attainment, and life chances, aiming to prevent their entry into the criminal justice system. You will collaborate with teachers and specialist staff to support students with special educational needs (SEN) and address social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges. Some children may have suffered adverse childhood experiences, and you will identify their risks and needs, escalating where necessary. You will provide consistency and equip children and young people with tools to feel safe, secure, empowered, and capable of succeeding in life.
