We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join us at one of our busy manufacturing sites; based at Trafford Park, Manchester on a 12 Month FTC. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for laboratory testing, products, and making a difference!

About the Role

As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the laboratory analysis of Essity and competitor products (primarily toilet and kitchen roll) currently on the UK market.

This exciting opportunity will place you at the heart of the business whilst providing a platform where you can showcase yourself and grow your career at Essity.

What you will do

1. Monitor and test Essity brands and competitor products available in the marketplace.
2. Report on any key changes and development of trends across metrics tested.
3. Support the Commercial team with ad hoc competitor testing and analysis as required.

Who you are

To be considered for the role, you will demonstrate the following:

1. Experience in a laboratory environment including product testing and ability to consistently operate a range of lab equipment.
2. Highly organised, with a flexible approach to work, and the ability to multitask effectively as part of a team.
3. Excellent attention to detail.
4. Confident communicator.
5. Excellent time management.
