Job Description
Development Scientist:
About the Company: Our client is a leading contract manufacturer in the medical device industry, dedicated to providing innovative solutions and maintaining the highest standards of service.
Our client is seeking a motivated R&D Scientist to join their team. This role involves assisting with projects from feasibility through scale-up and transfer into manufacturing, focusing on point-of-care testing technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage project experimental work plans in collaboration with project managers.
- Provide expertise in lateral flow assay design and development, identifying process improvements.
- Review and approve R&D reports and data for external presentation.
- Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory teams to meet project milestones.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, including COSHH & Risk Assessments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D roles within the medical device industry.
- Knowledge of lateral flow assay design and development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
