Development Scientist:

About the Company: Our client is a leading contract manufacturer in the medical device industry, dedicated to providing innovative solutions and maintaining the highest standards of service.

Our client is seeking a motivated R&D Scientist to join their team. This role involves assisting with projects from feasibility through scale-up and transfer into manufacturing, focusing on point-of-care testing technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create and manage project experimental work plans in collaboration with project managers.
2. Provide expertise in lateral flow assay design and development, identifying process improvements.
3. Review and approve R&D reports and data for external presentation.
4. Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory teams to meet project milestones.
5. Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, including COSHH & Risk Assessments.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D roles within the medical device industry.
3. Knowledge of lateral flow assay design and development.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
