Architect jobs in Germany

Our client is a leading Design & Build company based in Hertfordshire with residential projects across Essex, Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties. They are currently looking for an experienced Architectural Designer to join its practice near Broxbourne, who work closely with clients creating bespoke homes.

As the successful candidate you should have the following:

1. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
2. Experience in UK Residential architecture and designing residential spaces.
3. The ability to understand a complex brief and think strategically whilst concurrently dealing with the more practical details of construction.
4. The ability to confidently work alongside a team of consultants.
5. Attention to detail and the creativity and persistence to find solutions.
6. Experience of bespoke construction detailing in putting together construction information.
7. A thorough understanding of UK building regulations.
8. Experience in all RIBA work stages.
9. Excellent conceptual, graphic, and design skills.
10. Experience of working with BIM.
11. Experience in working as part of a team.

These skills should ideally be evidenced within your CV/portfolio. In addition, candidates must have:

1. 3 year minimum post-RIBA Part 3 experience in the UK, more preferred.
2. Fluency in both written and spoken English.
3. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
4. UK driving license.

The day-to-day duties will be as follows:

1. Being present at design meetings with existing clients where required.
2. Undertaking existing/proposed architectural drawings.
3. Proposing layouts for designs.
4. Helping the other team members when required.
5. Managing your own work using the various company compliance documents.
6. Ensuring client expectations are met.
7. Providing planning advice throughout projects.
8. Ensuring clients are all updated on a regular basis.
