VANRATH Recruitment is excited to represent a leading global law firm in their search for a Senior Microsoft Security Architect.
Our client, a prominent international legal firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Security Architect to lead the secure design, implementation, and ongoing development of their M365 environment. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the security and availability of the firm's M365 applications, adopting Microsoft cloud security technologies, and safeguarding critical data across their global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, architect, and implement a secure M365 environment tailored to the firm's needs.
• Lead the adoption and strategic use of Microsoft cloud security technologies, ensuring robust security practices.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Microsoft security suite, focusing on Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Office 365.
• Oversee the integration of identity and access management controls within M365.
• Architect and implement event management and secure logging for M365 services.
• Leverage Microsoft Purview's integrated data security services, including encryption, classification, and labeling.
• Provide reports on M365 security posture and compliance to senior management and executives.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, MS-500, AZ-500, SC-900, SC-4000.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Defender Suite (Defender for Cloud, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps).
• Proven experience leading the secure adoption of Microsoft security services in M365 environments.
• Strong expertise in integrating identity and access management within M365.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID governance and the ability to provide reports on M365 security posture and compliance.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to gather and assess data, identify problems, and formulate effective solutions.
• Ability to adapt, integrate, and modify existing programs or vendor-supplied programs within existing systems.
• Strong proficiency in both oral and written English.
