The Accounting Manager ensures the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of our financial information. This role owns the month‑end close process, leads day‑to‑day accounting operations, and supports strategic decisions with clean, well‑controlled financial data. By building strong processes and guiding the accounting team, the Accounting Manager enables leadership to make faster, better‑informed business decisions.

• Manage, lead and mentor an accounting team of 4 direct reports (GL & AP accounting).

• Own the month‑end close process end to end, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting with minimal supervision, and proactively identifying and resolving accounting issues.

• Lead day‑to‑day accounting operations for parent company & all its subsidiaries.

• Prepare monthly financial statements, reporting & ad‑hoc analysis as required.

• Review and approve all transactions entered into the financial system by the team.

• Collaborate with external accountants for year‑end reconciliations and monthly/quarterly or annual tax returns (VAT, CIT, etc.).

• Supervise year‑end closing processes and manage audits with external parties for parent company & its subsidiaries.

• Coordinate with external teams for any projects impacting accounting.

• Solid understanding of core accounting and finance concepts, including month‑end close, revenue and expense recognition, accruals, and reconciliations.

• Experience supporting business decision‑making through accurate reporting, analysis, and clear communication of financial results.

• Ability to understand how operational activities flow through to the financial statements.

• Experience working within a control framework and supporting audits and compliance requirements.

• CPA certification a strong plus.

• 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years experience in a similar Accounting Manager or senior‑level role.

• Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems.

• Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups) and comfort working with large data sets.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive follow‑through.

• High attention to detail paired with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

• Clear, concise communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop team members.
