A vocational training institution in Ontario is seeking an experienced instructor for the Personal Support Worker program. The ideal candidate should have a background in nursing and possess strong communication skills to teach effectively. Responsibilities include delivering lectures, marking assessments, and providing feedback to students. The role emphasizes hands-on training to prepare students for the workforce. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, and weekends for workshops.

CIMT College is looking for someone to teach the Personal Support Worker program. This program is registered with the Ministry of Colleges and Universities. The successful candidate would be required to follow CIMT College’s policies and procedures.
Courseware, resources, evaluations, and daily lesson plans are provided in an Instructor Manual. The Instructor is responsible for following the provided instructor manuals and using the resource materials to train students with the required knowledge and skills to prepare them for employment in the field.
CIMT College places a premium on professional conduct, combined with excellence in classroom instruction, with primary emphasis on hands‑on training.
Working Hours – Mon to Fri: 9:30 am to 2:30 pm (Labs session) and Sat & Sun: 9:30 am to 2:30 pm (Workshops)
