The Head Coach is responsible to the Director of Athletics for the coaching, recruiting, budgeting, compliance and eligibility, youth programming, and alumni relations of the Men’s Soccer Program while promoting the academic success of our student athletes.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who will be inspired by our vision of providing a unique experience in southern Alberta through emphasizing preparation, competition, community, and leadership.
The Head Coach will also be committed to leading the development and improvement of individual student athletes and the building of a competitive soccer program in Lethbridge.
Position Qualifications
University seeks a coach with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and minimum Canada Soccer – B License (A License preferred) or equivalent, and previous coaching experience at an advanced level is required.
A valid unrestricted Class 5 Driver’s License with no more than 6 demerits and submission of a motor vehicle record (driver abstract) dated within 3 months of the posting close is required.
The final candidate will be required to undergo a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Check.
Salary Information
The University of Lethbridge offers a competitive compensation package with a full range of benefits.
The salary range will be prorated to a 0.5 FTE – $31,627.75 – $39,787.90 annually (starting salary range).
Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE) $63,255.50 - $95,896.11 annually (APO - Grade 3).
