Reporting to the Senior Manager, Project Accounting and Sector Partnership, you will join a fast-growing organization, with a team of passionate financiers ready to take on new challenges. You will have a direct impact on the company's financial and operational performance by providing accurate financial analysis and strategic recommendations aimed at optimizing results. As a Financial Controller, you will supervise a team of professionals and work closely with various business units to support the company's continued growth. You'll be at the heart of the action, ensuring the robustness of financial processes while providing full visibility of the sector's activities.
We offer a hybrid work mode (2 days/week in the office), giving you the possibility of working remotely from home and in our offices in Quebec or Ontario.

Primary Responsibilities
- Facilitate ERP change management and pursue continuous improvement initiatives;
- Contribute to the financial analysis of proposals and financial clauses in various contracts;
- Contribute to the analysis of financial results and identify trends/problems likely to influence current or future activities;
- Perform variance analysis comparing results to budget and key performance indicators for sector operations;
- Develop and lead monthly financial presentations for the sector and organize monthly project risk assessment meetings with sector managers;
- Manage the preparation of sector budgets and quarterly projections with sector managers;
- Manage a team of project analysts and accountants by fostering an environment that promotes CIMA+ values;
- Manage project financial reviews to ensure sound financial support and contribute to the improvement and financial success of projects;
- Oversee the DRM by conducting review sessions and working closely with accounts receivable and billing specialists to improve cash flow;
- Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting policies and standards;
- Work with internal and external auditors and collaborate with other financial controllers to develop processes, standards and ensure continuous improvement;
Qualifications
- University degree in accounting with a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation (an asset);
- Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience, including 5 years' management and leadership experience in a senior financial function and experience in a professional services organization (an asset);
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English. Bilingualism is an essential requirement for this position in order to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including our customers, partners and cross-sector teams nationwide;
- Strong leadership skills to communicate effectively and positively influence senior management and others;
- Strong communication and financial literacy skills;
- Ability to manage multiple project priorities simultaneously, while meeting tight deadlines and working under pressure;
