Effective Date: Immediately
Salary: $25.79 per hour (as per the Collective Agreement)
Reporting to the School Principal, in conjunction with the Manager and Supervisor, DECE, the Designated Early Childhood Educator will be responsible in accordance with the Education Act, The Kindergarten Program Document 2016 and Growing Success – The Kindergarten Addendum, to work collaboratively and in partnership with the classroom teacher to implement a play-based program based on the Four Frames. The program will enhance the children’s cognitive, language, physical, social, emotional and spiritual development.
This position is covered by the C.U.P.E Local 5200.01 Collective Agreement.
