Position: Family Assistant, Full Time, Live In, Live In Summers, Live Out, Nanny, Nanny/Family Assistant

Location: Hamptons, Manhattan, New York

A family of four, in the West Village, needs to hire a full-time live-in (or live out) Nanny/ Family Assistant to care for their toddler and infant. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with morning routines and getting the children ready for school
• Coordinating fun games, activities, & outings
• School pick up & shuttling to activities
• Children’s laundry & child-related household upkeep
• Household organization
• Errands
• Light meal prep
• Scheduling & taking to appointments
• Homework help
• Immersive play
• Traveling with the family
• Helping with the bedtime routine

The ideal individual will be energetic and very engaging with the children. Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving in the city. Should hold a valid passport, be fully vaccinated (including covid), and comfortable in water. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, typically between 7am and 7pm, though applicants who need a later start are encouraged to apply. For live in, there is a private bed and bath offered, though applicants should have a place to go to on days off. For live out applicants, flexibility to sleep over most weekend nights and live in summer is a must. Salary $30/hr. Mid to late May start so there is, ideally, some overlap with the current nanny.
