The University of Lethbridge Information Technology Services department is seeking applications for a Systems Analyst. This is a full-time, continuing position located at our Lethbridge campus. Preference will be given to candidates who will work full-time at the Lethbridge campus; however, some hybrid work arrangements for Alberta-based candidates may be arranged.
Reporting to the Manager of Infrastructure, the Systems Analyst is a capable and versatile professional with a broad set of technical capabilities and will primarily be responsible for administering a large Windows Server environment. This includes key applications such as Active Directory, Entra ID, System Center, and Azure. Maintaining the overall health, reliability, and uptime of this environment will be a high priority for the incumbent.
Information security is of critical importance in this environment. The Systems Analyst is committed to strengthening the organization’s security posture by implementing and adhering to security best practices, responding to and mitigating security vulnerabilities as they arise, and keeping apprised of the latest developments from vendors.

The University of Lethbridge is undertaking a job classification and compensation review for Administrative Professional Officer (APO) positions. As such, the salary range currently assigned for this position may be adjusted as a result of this project.

This position plays a key role in ensuring these services are properly supported, maintained, and enhanced. Numerous University audiences rely on these critical services, and therefore a high degree of planning, coordination, and attention to detail is required to ensure business continuity. Strong organization, written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)
