What You’ll Be Doing
The Procurement team provides sourcing and contracting services utilizing disciplined governance to enable CIBC to effectively execute against its business priorities. Procurement provides quality strategic advisory and sourcing process executions services to CIBC business clients for the supply of products and services used by CIBC with optimal balance of price, risk, quality and organizational impact. As the Senior Procurement Lead, you'll manage end to end procurement activities and focus primarily on indirect spend to support IT and non-IT categories across CIBC’s HR, Finance, Real Estate, Communications, Marketing, Risk and Personal and Business Banking SBUs. You will develop and present procurement strategy recommendations as part of advisory service to clients based on their business requirements and industry analysis; develop contract content independently or in partnership with a legal resource; lead the negotiation strategy alignment and contract negotiations, as well as secure authorizations for agreement execution.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
