Wage: $20.38/hour

Shift: Monday to Friday 5:00AM - 1:30PM

About the Role:

What you’ll be doing:

• Perform cleaning duties and ensure facilities are cleaned to the best of the team’s ability.
• Lead and coordinate the work of cleaners on shift.
• Follow pre-set policies, guidelines, and rules to maintain a safe working environment.
• Inspect sites to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met.
• Recommend and communicate to Supervisors to arrange for additional services as necessary.
• Train new cleaning staff.
• Provide excellent customer service to represent Alpine in a professional manner.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as auto scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and high dusting equipment.
• Drive a tractor to haul garbage away.
• Perform enhanced cleaning as per work orders when requested.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by the Manager.

You have:

• A minimum of 2 years of cleaning experience in a commercial setting required.
• Must hold a valid Driver’s License.
• Experience operating a tractor is considered an asset.
• Experience operating an auto scrubber, carpet cleaner, and high dusting equipment is considered a strong asset, but not required.
• Motivation and a willingness to work and learn.
• Strong time management skills in order to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift.
• Ability to take initiative to determine and complete necessary tasks, even with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
