Wage:
· $150,000 to $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience
· Salary increases in line with company policy

Education:
· Master’s Degree in a relevant field (Equivalent experience may be considered)
Experience: 10 Years in a relevant role, with proven track record

· Experience in shaping and influencing government policy in global contexts
· Proficiency with financing instruments and risk management strategies
· Deep understanding of commercial drivers of business success in corporate settings
· Strong team management and leadership experience
· Engagement with global entities in the climate and renewable fuels space

Duties:
As the Chief Commercial Officer, you will be a strategic leader within Portage Energy, responsible for driving the company’s commercial growth, innovation, and success. Key duties include:
· Developing and executing comprehensive commercial strategies to expand Portage Energy’s market presence in the sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) sector.
· Identifying new business opportunities both domestically and internationally, forming strategic partnerships, and building strong customer relationships.
· Leading the regulatory agenda, ensuring compliance while aligning with Portage Energy’s vision and sustainability goals.
· Collaborating with cross-functional teams to foster innovation and implement sustainability-driven growth initiatives.
· Monitoring market trends, analyzing competitor activities, and adjusting strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the green tech industry.
· Lead negotiations and manage contracts for feedstock procurement, ensuring reliable and sustainable sources for SAF production.
· Develop and maintain long-term offtake agreements with key stakeholders, including governments, airlines, and other large-scale customers.
· Collaborate with legal and finance teams to structure favorable and compliant feedstock and offtake agreements, mitigating risks while maximizing commercial value.
· Identify and negotiate with new and existing feedstock suppliers to secure competitive pricing and supply reliability.
· Monitor and evaluate feedstock market dynamics, ensuring alignment with Portage’s production goals and sustainability targets.
· Foster strong relationships with offtake partners to ensure the successful delivery of products in accordance with agreed terms and timelines.
