Wild Wing at Canlan is currently looking for a Shift Supervisor.

Our hands-on F&B Shift Supervisors oversee the day-to-day operations of the Wild Wing restaurant in a professional manner. They provide leadership for all staff, ensuring that efficient food service, preparation and presentation consistently exceed guest expectations.

1. Ensure all opening / closing procedures are completed (shift dependent).
2. Ensure there are no variances in cash or inventories during the shift.
3. Maintain knowledge of and actively promote menu, beverages and current promotions.
4. Receive product delivery and ensure safe, sanitary and secure storage when required.
5. Ensure team maintains or exceeds guest expectations in a cost-effective manner.
6. Cover team roles / shifts when required.
7. Front of house operations (Restaurant and Bar).
8. Handle payments and gratuities, make change, and process all transactions SQUIRREL system accurately.
9. Apply developed knowledge of tableware and bar equipment.
10. Back of house operations (Kitchen).
11. Competent in the use and care of kitchen tools and equipment.
12. Apply basic knowledge of food preparation (in keeping with standardized recipes).

1. Smart Serve, Serving It Right, (or equivalent) required.
2. Food Safe Certification preferred.
3. High school graduation.

1. At least three years Food & Beverage experience.
2. Prior team leadership background preferred.
3. Outgoing, positive and team orientated.
4. Experienced handling payment and gratuities through a POS system (SQUIRREL preferred).
5. Willingness and ability to work flexible hours (evenings & weekends).
