About The Position

We are looking for a talented and motivated Platform Specialist to join our dynamic and growing team, working from our office in Porto Alegre.

Main challenges

• Act as a technical reference, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency of the platforms;
• Protect platforms against cybersecurity threats and ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies;
• Diagnose and quickly resolve technical issues and incidents to minimize downtime;
• Develop automation to optimize processes and reduce operational errors;
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance effectively to ensure platform longevity and performance;
• Act as a bridge between the technical team and stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions;
• Propose and implement strategic solutions aligned with industry best practices;
• Act as a facilitator, ensuring the dissemination and application of knowledge.

Requirements

• Solid experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or similar roles focused on networking;
• Mastery of Kubernetes, its components (kube-apiserver, kube-controller-manager, kubelet, kube-proxy, etcd), and Rancher, including cluster management, deployments, services, pods, and troubleshooting in Kubernetes environments;
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS);
• Understanding of information security practices, including encryption, compliance, access control, and vulnerability management;
• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems, including process management, memory, storage, networking, and security;
• Advanced English skills.

Differentials

• Previous experience in high-tech or SaaS companies;
• Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities;
• Specialized knowledge of the Harvester platform (architecture and components, VM and image management, troubleshooting network, storage, etc.);
• Knowledge of routing protocols, switching, firewalls, and load balancing;
• Relevant certifications in cloud, DevOps, or networking (such as CCNP, CCIE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect);
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field;
• Fluent English.

FlexWork Model
