Technical Design Leadership Collaborate with the creative team in taking engaging and immersive event experiences into design intent and production detail packages.

Technical Excellence Utilize advanced CAD software (AutoCAD) to create precise layouts detailed working drawings and material specifications from the creative teams 3D models.

Collaborative Environment Work closely with cross-functional teams and lead other technical designers to produce production packages to agreed timelines.

As a Senior CAD Technical Designer you will be responsible for developing detailed AutoCAD layouts elevations and detail packages for various events. Your expertise will contribute to the design of event master plans stages exhibition spaces and immersive activations bringing creative visions to life with design excellence and detailed specifications.

Design Development Lead the creation of detailed construction production packages from layouts elevations fixtures joinery and immersive features for mega events and experiential activations.

3D Modeling Transfer creative team 3D models into AutoCAD layouts to assess the viability of concepts and dimensions.

Spatial Planning Create production masterplans floor plans zonal layouts for a variety of events from large scale to smaller activations.

CAD Standards Establish implement and enforce CAD standards and file organization.

Technical Support Assist with hands-on troubleshooting efforts from production and processes.

Project Management Take projects from concept to production release ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

File Maintenance Perform maintenance of CAD files in response to engineering changes.

Experience Proven experience in creating detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD software.

Technical Knowledge Good knowledge of fabrication audio lighting video and rigging systems and design.

Software Proficiency Intermediate knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Office applications.

Attention to Detail Must be detail-oriented and organized.

Event Experience Events-related experience is a plus.

Problem-Solving Skills Demonstrated proficiency in relevant technology and troubleshooting

Qualifications Bachelors degree in Architecture Engineering or a related field.

Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience working with AutoCAD including familiarity with Layer Manager Xref and Dynamic Blocks.

Skills Ability to analyze and interpret design sketches reference images and specifications to create precise drawings.

Portfolio Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.

Location Based in Dubai or willing to relocate.

Availability Flexible to work during evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
