FF& E/Interior Designer - Hospitality

As a FF& E/Interior Designer reporting into the Interior Design Manager-Hospitality, working from our Design Studio at the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai.
Responsibilities include:
- As a representative of Studio 360, maintain the integrity and spirit of the organization.
- Attend meetings and workshops as needed to contribute intellectually to the organizational needs. If leading a meeting, minute and share the notes as per set procedures immediately and follow up until task completion.
- Adhere to all studio manuals, procedures, and protocols.
- Deliver high-quality output/standards as per the role and engineering discipline involved.
- Assist LDP(Leadership) office and immediate reporting authority in achieving the Studio’s Vision as set by Board/Investors.
- Be highly organized, self-motivated, and a good team player with excellent communication skills.
- Devote oneself exclusively to the performance of duties during working hours and beyond if required for the efficient discharge of duties.
- Maintain constant communication with LDP and immediate reporting authorities for deliverables and their status.
- Flag risks of delays, cost overruns, and quality issues to LDP and immediate reporting authority as soon as known.
- Be available on standby during vacations and weekends for critical deliverables affecting client business needs. Set up a Proxy system when unable to stay in communication to ensure tasks are completed and RA’s have constant updates on task progress.
- Be accountable for own work and subordinates’ work. Undertake structured Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Perform under pressure and tight targets.
- Follow all QA/QC checks for all work procedures under the scope. Always be in smart business attire.
Here's what you'll need:
- FF&E / ID Hospitality Designer with a primary role focus on FF&E design, able to support the team on hotel interiors in a designer capacity when required.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop FF&E proposals that align with the design direction and budget.
- Create presentations from concept to detailed specifications of furniture, fixtures, materials, and equipment.
- Prepare information for the in-house procurement team. Maintain and update the FF&E library and stay up to date with industry trends.
- Support the team in a designer capacity, assisting in preparation of design presentations including sketches and material boards, working with drawings including GA's, RCP's, sections, elevations, and details under the supervision of Senior/Lead ID Architect.
- Focus on 4* and 5* Hospitality and F&B projects, with sectors of Residential and Retail being a bonus.
- Able to work on design rollouts and develop new hotel design guidelines. Develop FF&E designs through all phases of work with minimal supervision from Senior/Lead Designer and/or ID Manager.
- Demonstrate knowledge of specifications & documentation, product & supplier resources, budgets, FF&E and OSE services, and regional design codes.
- Work collaboratively with the design and procurement team, as well as liaise with external suppliers and manufacturers.
- Able to work cross-sector as required by project workload.
- Strong understanding of FF&E brands and budgets, materials, and color palettes.
- Attention to detail and well-organized to manage FF&E selections and specifications.
- Advanced skills in SketchUp/InDesign/Photoshop required, good working knowledge of REVIT/CAD.
Educational Qualification: BS in Design, Interior Design or Architecture
Experience: Minimum 3-10 Years
Computer and Software Proficiency: Microsoft Office Excel, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit
