Job Description
Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and laundry facilities. They ensure that linens, towels, and other laundry items are cleaned, pressed, and organized for use, while also supporting overall housekeeping operations.

Responsibilities

1. Clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, and public areas, including vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
2. Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish toiletries.
3. Empty trash bins and ensure rooms are neat and organized.
4. Laundry Management:
5. Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, and other laundry items.
6. Ensure laundry is cleaned and returned to appropriate areas in a timely manner.
7. Maintain laundry equipment and report any malfunctions or issues.
8. Inventory & Stock Management:
9. Ensure cleaning supplies and laundry products are stocked and properly stored.
10. Monitor and maintain inventory levels for linens, towels, and cleaning materials.
11. Safety & Hygiene:
12. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
13. Properly handle cleaning chemicals and laundry detergents, ensuring safe usage and storage.
14. Team Collaboration:
15. Assist other housekeeping team members when needed.
16. Communicate with supervisors regarding room status or laundry requirements.

Requirements

• Must be below 50 years old.
• Prior experience in housekeeping or laundry responsibilities is advantageous.
• Familiarity with cleaning products, methodologies, and equipment is required.
• The capacity to perform effectively in a high-paced environment is essential.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities are necessary.
• Good physical endurance and capability to lift heavy objects are required.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate as a team member are important.
