Job summary
A leading global engineering firm is seeking an Electronic Engineer for a Drill Ship. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in electronic engineering, including 2 years on a Saipem rig. Responsibilities include coordinating electrical maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and acting as the Cyber Security Officer. - Minimum 5 years experience as Electronic Engineer (or similar), including 2 years in a Saipem rig.
- Experience monitoring and controlling electrical/electronic equipment according to safety procedures.
- Ability to define maintenance work setting priorities and propose maintenance schedules.
Responsibilities
- Work in coordination with the electrical team, providing necessary electrical knowledge.
- Plan electrical maintenance and report to the Electrical Lead / Chief Engineer.
- Act as the Cyber Security Officer (CySO) in line with IMO maritime instruments.
