Senior Planning Engineer jobs in United Arab Emirates

KEO International Consultants is a world ranked and leading Architectural, Engineering, and Project and Construction Management Firm with offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Bahrain, Dubai, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

We are currently seeking qualified Planning Engineer to work on high rise projects within the region. In this capacity, you will be responsible for overseeing and providing planning advice with regard to critical schedule milestones. This role is a vital and integral part of our Project Management and Construction Management Division.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:

1. Site project experience on high rise commercial or residential building projects.
2. Reviewing and approving contractor’s work program submissions.
3. Overseeing actual project progress versus the planned work milestones.
4. Monitoring, adjusting and updating the cost plan and cash flows accordingly and the consolidation of these results in weekly reports.
5. Reviewing in conjunction with the Project Manager or Construction Manager any potential changes, and in turn measuring where possible future saving or additional costs can be identified.
6. Site based knowledge of the full project life cycle, with at least one example of working on a project from beginning to completion.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or other related discipline with a minimum of 8 years of post-graduate experience working for both a leading Contractor and a Consultancy.
2. Prior experience in the Gulf Region is essential.
