Quality Control Engineer jobs in United Arab Emirates

My Client is a large international service company who are currently working on a project in Abu Dhabi for a large IOC. They are searching for an Advanced Process Control Engineer to be based in Abu Dhabi for a 6-month renewable contract.

The Advanced Process Control Engineer needs to have experience in oil and gas well projects to support in:

1. Monitoring and supporting APC on-site or remotely
2. Advanced understanding of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and APC-DCS connection and data flow
3. Running training courses for customers as necessary
4. Working in the office and at the customer’s site to design, configure, install, and commission APC systems
5. Designing appropriate step tests and building dynamic models between manipulated and control variables
6. Building and updating project documentation for APC implementation
7. Technical experience in developing and deploying multivariable predictive controllers, preferably for the upstream industry
8. Deep knowledge of and experience with programming control logic using the Honeywell HAPC
9. Very good knowledge of computer configuration and use
10. Technical Expertise in Dynamic Constraint Control as it applies to Advanced Process Control upstream oil and gas wells
11. Good client presentation skills, able to conduct workshops & sessions with clients independently
12. Able to train & mentor junior engineers

The APC will be required to have qualifications in Electrical Engineering/Process Control.
