Job summary
A renowned hospitality group in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Security Officer to supervise security operations and manage incidents. You'll conduct patrols, monitor surveillance systems, enforce access control, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma, relevant security certifications, and strong leadership and communication skills. This position also involves developing security policies and responding to emergencies, ensuring a safe environment for guests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; security experience preferred.
- First Aid certification and valid security certification desired.
- Strong communication, observational, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of premises to deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor and respond to surveillance systems and access control.
- Enforce access control, conduct inspections, and prepare reports.
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
- Develop and enforce security policies and manage vulnerabilities.
- Provide proactive guest/customer service and maintain security equipment.

Supervise Security Operations Center staff, manage incident response, ensure compliance, and possess strong leadership and communication skills in cybersecurity.
- Conduct regular patrols of premises to deter and detect unauthorized access and suspicious activity.
- Monitor and respond to surveillance systems, CCTV, and access control points.
- Enforce access control, conduct inspections, maintain logs, and prepare incident reports.
- Respond to emergencies, provide first aid, and coordinate with authorities as needed.
- Develop and enforce security and cybersecurity policies, manage vulnerabilities, and lead incident response.
- Provide proactive guest/customer service, maintain security equipment, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- High school diploma required; security experience preferred.
- First Aid certification and valid security certification (e.g., UAE Police/SIRA license) desired.
- Strong communication, observational, and teamwork skills.
- Physical fitness, ability to work outdoors and irregular shifts.
- Experience leading teams and managing cybersecurity tools (SIEM, risk assessments) beneficial.
- 0-1 Year – Phoenix Security Global Services, Dubai, UAE.
- 1-2 Years – PSG International, Dubai, UAE.
