We are seeking an Application Support Engineer to monitor and maintain the efficiency of our software applications. In this role, your duties will include reporting to your Technical Team Lead, collaborating with colleagues, and ensuring we deliver the best possible solution and service to our clients.

Application Support Engineer Responsibilities:
- Providing software application support under the supervision of your TL.
- Performing analyses on software application functionality and suggesting improvements.
- Ensuring effective front end and back end functionality of applications.
- Consulting with the software development team, internal users, and clients to improve application performance.
- Follow proper Release Management processes across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality.
- Establishing the root causes of application errors and escalate serious concerns to your TL.
- Keeping a record of configuration changes and scheduling application updates.
- Providing front end support to clients and colleagues in other departments.
Application Support Engineer Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or similar working experience.
- Demonstrable experience as an Application Support Engineer in a related field.
- Good knowledge using T-SQL and Database management.
- Coding languages would be advantages I.e. C#, JavaScript, Angular, VB.Net.
- Ability to document configuration changes, and monitor performance.
- Exceptional ability to provide front end support to internal departments and web-based clients.
- Proficiency in determining the causes of application errors and repairing them.
- Ability to keep up with innovation in application design.
- Exceptional communication skills.

- Works under general direction.
- Uses discretion in identifying and responding to complex issues and assignments.
- Receives specific direction, accepts guidance, and has work reviewed at agreed milestones. Determines when issues should be escalated to a higher level.
