What You'll Do:
As a Sales Engineer at AG MELCO, specializing in elevators and vertical transportation, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new opportunities and developing strategies that directly contribute to our sales and profit objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate new sales opportunities by leveraging synergies across Melco's elevator and vertical transportation businesses.
- Build and manage relationships with both new and existing clients to achieve targeted sales.
- Lead contract negotiations, including payment terms, guarantees, project timelines, and special pricing, in coordination with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Design Team to ensure elevator product specifications meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Drive pre-sales activities to align product design with customer needs, ensuring AG MELCO's elevator solutions are in line with quality expectations.
- Ensure all elevator and lift specifications align with client orders and AG MELCO's vertical transportation standards.
- Coordinate with Commercial and Shipping departments for order issuance, scheduling, and timely delivery to project sites.
- Support the Installation Department with technical queries, even post-delivery, to ensure seamless project implementation.
- Handle PO issuance and track payments, ensuring smooth delivery and reporting of collections.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis of clients and projects to drive sales within the elevator and lift sector.
- Collaborate with Service Sales teams for seamless handovers and to address project requirements.
- Manage pricing queries and discount negotiations alongside the Sales Manager to maintain competitive pricing in the vertical transportation market.
- Resolve customer complaints, ensuring a high standard of service and enhancing AG MELCO's brand image in the elevator industry.
- Facilitate smooth interdepartmental communication for timely delivery of elevator components and equipment to project sites.
- Meet agreed sales targets and outcomes within scheduled timelines, following AG MELCO's established sales framework.
- Generate and issue purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of elevator materials to client sites.

Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
Years of Experience:
4 - 6 years of relevant experience in a sales role in lift / escalator industry.
