Key Responsibilities:

1. Support Ops Lead, MU Lead and DOO in executing the MU business strategy, driving operational excellence and supporting their P&L management accountabilities.
2. Act as a business integrator, collaborating closely with different business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing and Legal to facilitate smooth business operations to achieve business priorities, campaigns and initiatives planned.
3. Support the business leads in establishing the mission, vision and goals to align with business and operational objectives.
4. Lead, manage and develop a team of business operations professionals in MU client groups and services. Ensure that business operations and related work teams have clear strategies and approaches in place to support the Market Unit.
5. Develop and improve standardized operation processes, drive and implement continuous improvement and optimization programs for operational processes, managing critical program dependencies.
6. Program manage the implementation of the strategy across the market unit, supporting the monthly MU Leadership team in execution of the next generation growth model.
7. Lead/support continuous improvement efforts for processes, tools, metrics and training based on ongoing experience, process metrics and feedback from stakeholders.
8. Use, develop and oversee implementation for best practices/assets of our global organization in accordance with global directions and rules; develop operational excellence initiatives to improve performance and efficiency.
9. Manage business operations risk and issues across the MU.
10. Support other initiatives as they arise.
11. The MU Business Operations Lead also manages the business operations team in the Market Unit including Client Group teams and Services teams. Responsible for growing and developing the business operations teams which support MU.

1. Program Management Expertise

1. Program Lifecycle Management: A Program Lead oversees the entire lifecycle of a program, from initiation to completion, ensuring that all projects align with business goals and are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
2. Program Planning: Creating comprehensive program plans that outline objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, resources, and milestones for the program’s successful execution.
3. Prioritization: Prioritizing program goals and projects based on organizational needs and available resources.
4. Program Execution: Monitoring and guiding multiple projects within the program, ensuring they stay aligned with strategic goals and objectives.

2. Leadership and Team Management

1. Team Leadership: Leading cross-functional teams across multiple projects, providing direction, support, and motivation to ensure high performance and successful project delivery.
2. Stakeholder Engagement: Maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, project managers, clients, and vendors.
3. Resource Management: Allocating resources (human, financial, and technical) across projects within the program to ensure efficiency and success.
4. Conflict Resolution: Addressing conflicts or issues within the program or between project teams and stakeholders, and implementing solutions to resolve them.

3. Strategic Planning and Alignment

1. Business Goals Alignment: Ensuring that the program’s goals and objectives align with the organization’s strategic vision, mission, and priorities.
2. Visionary Thinking: Developing and refining the program’s direction based on changing business landscapes, market trends, and organizational priorities.
3. Change Management: Managing changes in the program’s scope, timeline, or resources and ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed and aligned with changes.

4. Risk and Issue Management

1. Risk Identification: Identifying potential risks (e.g., budget overruns, timeline delays, resource shortages) across multiple projects within the program.
2. Risk Mitigation: Developing strategies and plans to mitigate program risks, minimizing negative impacts on overall objectives.
3. Issue Resolution: Quickly identifying and resolving issues or roadblocks that may arise during the execution of the program, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.

5. Financial Management and Budgeting

1. Program Budgeting: Creating and managing the overall program budget, ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectively across projects.
2. Cost Control: Monitoring and controlling program costs to ensure that each project remains within its budget and the program as a whole stays financially viable.
3. Forecasting: Predicting future resource and financial needs based on program performance and upcoming deliverables.
4. Return on Investment (ROI): Assessing the financial and strategic value delivered by the program to the organization and stakeholders.
