Field Technician to join our Team.

Industry/sector: Oil & Gas / In Line Inspection services

Responsibilities Include:- Prepare, sign and submit pigging, daily, express and other relevant reports.
- Discuss equipment and tools requirements including auxiliaries, AGM's, DGPS, magnets, launching trays, spares, tool box and all other required tools for use in the field.
- Study and analyze project information document, operation manuals, pigging procedures and other project-related documents.
- Establish professional contact with client’s field personnel creating friendly working relations.
- Execute field work in a safe, effective and efficient manner in accordance with PipeCare QA/QC procedures and in line with time, resource and financial planning.
- Coordinate field activities between PipeCare team, subcontractor, client and other involved parties.
- Perform ILI runs successfully without data loss as per POF & API standards.
- Conduct sufficient cleaning runs to the established PipeCare cleaning criteria.
- Conduct site survey and DGPs Survey in line with PipeCare procedures and operational requirements.
- Execute all other tasks as requested by Team Leader within the assigned job role.
Qualified Candidates will possess:- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant).
- Experience in Oil and Gas sector, preferably with ILI exposure.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook at an intermediate level.
- Professional level of English language is a must.
Job requirements:- Ability to travel extensively including international trips.
- Ability to work flexible hours based on business and project needs.
- Ability to work either independently or within a team to ensure project success.
Physical And Mental Requirements:- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
- Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
- Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
- Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
- Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
