Rides Technician

Job Description

To ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the Farah Experiences Leisure Facilities in the Technical Services Rides Department in relation to the Company Core Process; thus directly impacting on the maintenance of rides, facilities and attractions.

This position provides all of the necessary maintenance required for preserving and improving the physical functionality, safety and appearance of all rides, attractions, and facilities in order to ensure Guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform daily checks, start-up, closing procedures, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance for all rides and attractions.
2. Ensure the rides and attractions readiness before time depending on the park operational hours.
3. Maintain and ensure that all rides and attractions are safe for all colleagues and guests.
4. Respond and resolve calls of downtime of the rides and attractions.
5. Reduce downtime in the rides and attractions by ensuring that all Preventive Maintenance activities are performed well based on manufacturer's requirements.
6. Responsible for reporting and informing Team Leaders regarding issues and concerns that affect the safe operation of all rides and attractions.
7. Ensure that all Preventive Maintenance Checklists are completed and submitted to Team Leader on deadline.
8. Ensure that all Corrective Maintenance is performed well and eliminate from happening again.
9. Attend briefing, training, and development programs for personal growth.

Essential Qualifications:

1. Electrical or Mechanical Diploma.
2. 3+ years in maintenance field.
3. Expertise in at least one of the following fields: Electrical or Mechanical.
4. Good English speaking and writing abilities.
5. Physical fitness.

Desirable Qualifications:

1. 4+ years ride-related experience in a Theme Park or Amusement Industry maintaining rides & attractions.
2. Capable of reading and understanding operations and maintenance manuals of all rides and attractions.
3. Willing to learn and develop skills and knowledge by engaging in work either in electrical or mechanical aspects.
4. Capable of working in environments where temperatures can be extreme, with some hazardous conditions caused by noise, chemicals, dust, etc.
5. Experience in reading drawings, schematic diagrams, hydraulic drawings, and diagrams.
6. Experience in troubleshooting and solving issues with rides and attractions.
