· Architect, design, and implement IVR call flows for voice banking using platforms like Genesys.
· Define the technical vision and roadmap for IVR systems and voice interfaces.
· Integrate IVR with core banking systems, CRMs and third-party APIs.
· Finalize technology stack as aligned with enterprise architects.
· Deliver solution aligned to target architecture and standards defined by the enterprise architects.
· Examine existing systems and programs to identify areas for improvement and integration.
· Present tactical and strategic options architecture and solution to senior management.
· Manage and review application, data and technology component and building blocks from enterprise architecture perspective.
· Design digital solution considering SOA, Open API, Micro services architecture principles wherever applicable.
· Provide solution in line with Agile and DevOps oriented project delivery.
· Build end to end solution keeping customer first methodology with respect to mobile app, Multichannel framework, BPM, CRM, Data & Analytics components.
· Maintain the technology options that will most appropriately support the Bank’s required software systems.
· Ensure that current and complete documentation of the Bank’s systems architecture and the interactions between those systems is developed and maintained.
· Ensure that scalability and disaster recoverability are adequately considered in all aspects of the overall systems architecture.
· Facilitate the effective integration of all systems operating within the Bank and, in particular, as new systems are selected and implemented.
· Participate in the Bank’s IT strategy formulation and provide research on latest digital technology.
· Responsibility to provide solution for web, mobile and data related projects.
· Strong experience in IVR platforms such as Genesys.
· Research current and developing technology options that can be adopted by the bank to meet business requirements such as Microservices, SOA new pattern, Blockchain, Open API.
· Define the technology standards in the above areas.
· Manage the life cycle of solutions, undertaking technology watch and developing proofs of concept for customer facing channels.
· Responsible for the technology plan that ensures the Bank remains in step with the documented standards.
· Maintain the documentation on the interactions of the various systems running in the Bank.
· Elaborate and document the Bank’s approach to achieving a service oriented architecture or other agreed standard that emerges.
· Work with the development team and vendors for identifying design and development tools for most effective delivery of integration development tasks.
· Technical vendor evaluation and RFPs.
· Custodian of the Bank’s data model and for ensuring, to the extent possible, that data duplication between systems is avoided as well as to ensure clear documentation of areas of duplication.
· Demonstrate ability to go the extra mile to ensure project success.
· Understanding of Frameworks (TOGAF) and working knowledge in Enterprise Architecture is an added advantage.
· Experience in a business facing role demonstrating presentation skills, as well as having the ability to communicate to senior management.
· Hands-on knowledge, well versed with latest Digital technologies, Architecture frameworks.
· Working knowledge in Java, Spring framework (Boot, MVC, JPA), Angular, React Native and React web.
· Working knowledge in defining API Specification for REST or Web Services.
· Knowledge of API & Interface governance, design standards and principles.
· Knowledge in Cloud Deployments – AWS, Azure; Professional certification will be an added advantage.
· Knowledge in hardware sizing and able to define application architecture that is High Available, scalable etc.
· Knowledge & experience covering front ends, back end services, integration (SOA), databases and data modelling, operational models and infrastructure sizing.
· At least 3 years in solution architecture covering 3 or more of web/mobile applications, SOA/API/Microservices & integration, analytics, infrastructure and deployment.
· At least 5 years in software development with at least 2 years in building Java backend applications.
· Working knowledge of front end development technology (e.g. Native iOS, Native Android, Hybrid/Web: AngularJS, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3).
· Experience in a client facing role demonstrating presentation skills, as well as having the ability to communicate with senior management.
· Knowledge and experience in Cloud, DevOps, Agile development methodology.
· Experience in Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, ATM, IVR BPM, CRM, Core Banking application.
· Banking domain knowledge – understanding of current opportunities and challenges in Financial Services industry.
· Awareness of Security standards & best practices while defining the application architecture.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Engineering / MCA / Masters in Computer Science.
