The Opportunity:

We're pleased to be assisting a well-known US law firm as they search for an experienced Legal PA to join the Abu Dhabi office.

This role will support a dedicated, multi-cultural, and high regarded team of lawyers up to Senior Partner level and liaise with offices across the region and globe. In this role, your day to day tasks will include:

1. Matter management, from engagement letters and due diligence, through to close;
2. Attending to monthly timesheet and billing processes;
3. Attending to invoices and expense reimbursements;
4. Document preparation, editing, and management;
5. Liaising with clients and third parties to update matter information, arrange for document transfer and signature, and field general enquiries;
6. Calendar, telephone and meeting management;
7. Arranging travel and preparation of travel documents;
8. Collaborate with the wider administration, operations and facilities team to ensure seamless admin support and to facilitate meetings and events;
9. General office support including attending to the mail, print room duties;
10. Ad hoc office, business development and practice projects.

Candidate Profile:

1. Proven experience in a Legal Support role, assisting senior level professionals in a global practice;
2. Excellent organisation skills and demonstrated experience managing multiple simultaneous projects with tight deadlines;
3. Strong communication with a history of working in a multi-cultural team and contacts located across several timezones;
4. Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite and intermediate to senior level proficiency using legal matter and billing software;
5. A proactive and flexible approach, willing to step into a leadership role for admin processes as well as work collaboratively with colleagues.
